NEW ZEALAND .CASUALTIES The following additional casualty in connection with fighting in the Western Desert is officially announced:— Wounded by enemy air bombs:— Driver Robert iNoel Campbell, next-of-kin, Mr W. A. N. Campbell, of Tuamarunui (father). INVERCARGILL, January 1.

Advice was received in Invercargill to-day that Pilot Officer R- G. Start,'is reported missing in air operations. He is partner in the firm of Webb and Stark, public accountants. He joined the Royal New Zealand Air Force as observer in January; 1940, and left for England last July.
