THIRD TERM
ROOSEVELT’S ELECTION (Received December 17. 7.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 16. The Presidential electors met today in the various State capitals and cast ballots electing Mr Roosevelt as President for a third term. The votes for Mr Roosevelt numbered 449, arid for Mr Willkie 82. The__vot.es will be submitted to the neyy Congress on January 6, when Mr Rooseveit wil. formally be declared the winner.
