R.A.F. RAIDS
On Tuesday Night RUGBY, December 11. R.A.F. bombers, despite bad weather, carried out an attack last night on a number of targets in western Germany arid dccupied territory. These included railway junctions, power stations, aerodromes, and inland docks, states a communique. Docks and invasion ports along the Channel and in occupied territory were also attacked by small bomber forces. Two of our planes are missing. An Air Ministry communique states: In the course of last night’s operations one of our bombers shot down an enemy twin-engined fighter. A German communique states: Bad weather, yesterday and last night, again confined our Air Force activities to armed reconnaissance. The enemy last night bombed occupied territory and south-west Germany. One is killed and five injured. During the past few weeks, Free French naval forces have taken an active part in patrols in the Channel and the North Sea, and in .escorting naval convoys.
