GERMAN TROOPS
REPORTED MASSING DENIED (Received Aug. 19, 7.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 18. The Ministry of Information states: “It is learned on inquiry from the Air Ministry that there is no foundation for a report issued by a press agency that German troops were seen by the R.A.F. on Saturday night massed on the beaches between Boulogne and Calais, or that they were bombed there.”
