ACCIDENTS

CHRISTCHURCH INJURIES. CHRISTCHURCH, August 5. Concussion was suffered by Margaret Brown, aged 16 years, of 22 Plynlimon Road, Fendalton, when she was knocked off her bicycle by a car at the corner of Oxford Terrace and Hereford Street late on Saturday afternoon. Her condition last evening was satisfactory. David McLenaghan, aged 13, of 14 Somerfield Street, suffered head injuries when he was knocked off his bicycle by a motor-car at the corner of Somerfield and Tainui Streets on Saturday morning. He was admittea to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where his condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory. When he was cranking a motor-car about mid-day yesterday, Gerald McMenamin, aged 22 years, of 21 MacCaulay’s Road, cut his wrist on the number-plate. A tendon was severed and he had to be admitted to hospital. His condition is satisfactory. Frank Aiderton, aged 30, of Wigram, was kicked on the head while playing football for an Air Force team a+ Hagiey Park on Saturday. He was admitted to hospital, and his condition is reported to be satisfactory. Gored by a tear at Belfast W. R. Good, of 134 Matson's Road, Papanui, suffered injuries which necessitated his admission to hospital in Christchurch on Saturday afternoon. His condition last evening was reported as satisfactory.
