4J MILLIONS EXCESS' Juried Record [Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, August 3. New Zealand’s overseas trading m Jun e resulted in an export excess oi £4,595,000, against an import excess of" £52,000 in June last year, and ■'•ui export excess of £2,350,000 in 1935. The value of exports was nearly twice as great as in June of either ol the two previous years, and imports were about the same level. For the six months ended June, the value of exports,' at £44,632,00u, was about £7,000.000 above the levei of the two previous years, and imports were lower. The export excess, al £19,762,000, therefore, showed a substantial increase. For the 12 months ended June, exports were valued at £65,859,000. and imports at £46,070,000, giving an export excess of £19,789,000, against £1 391,000 in 1939, and £4,377,000 m 1938. Export values in 1940 wore on a higher level, and imports were considerably lower.
