The German Commissioner for Holland, Hprr Seyss Inquart, has issued a proclamation declaring that all expressions of loyalty to the House of Grange are considered to be di.'*cted against the occupying forces, and will be punished under the German criminal law. German, in addition to the Dutch police, will enforce the order. The order bans the wearing of emblems. It specifically prohibits the celebration of Queen Wilhelmina’s birthday on August 31, and Princess Irene’s birthday on August 5.
