ACCIDENTS
MOTORCYCLIST KILLED. NEW PLYMOUTH, July 31. James Allan Holmes, of Pioneer road, New Plymouth, married, aged IV was killed instantly this morning when the motor-cycle he was riding collided with a motor-lorry at the intersection of Pioneers and Breakwatei roads, New Plymouth. Holmes ml with his machine under the lorry, the rear wheel of which nassed over ni* head.
GIRL FALLS DOWN STAIRS. CHRISTCHURCH, August 1. Jean Penrose, aged 17, of Weka Street, Fendalton, fell down the stairs at the Mayfair Lounge and was admitted to the Public Hospital _ early yesterday morning with injuries her back. Her condition is noL se - ious.
