HOUSEHOLD HINTS
An excellent paste may easily be made by adding 1, teaspoon of sugar to boiled starch. ****** Use a safety razor blade instead of scissors when cutting buttonholes in thick material. ****** Flace a new white paper cake-con-tainer round the cork each time the thermos is used. It eliminates the ccrky flavor. To clean a thermos flash, half fid with warm water, add a broken egg shell and a tablespoonful of vinegar and shake well. ***** * A cotton sheet placed between two blankets gives greater warmth than four blankets.
