The weather report is as follows: General situation: An extensive anticyclone covers New Zealand and the Eh Tasman Sea. Forecast: Winds, light to moderate and variable, but with northerlies prevailing about south of Cook Strait, and gradua Y freshening. Seas (in New Zealand waters) slight or moderate, biK gradually riling south of Westport. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to erate and variable winds and siig seas in the northern portion; moo erate to strong north-westerly winds and rough seas in the southern. po tion.
