RESERVE BANK. The Reserve Bank note issue expanded last week by £417,137 to £19,492,362, according to th e return of 'the bank to the close of business on Monday. Demand liabilities to th e State decreased by £446,439, and those to the banks rose by £329,549There wag a rise in other liabilities of £162.407. The sterling exchange holding decreased to £12,941,185. There was a decrease in the total of advances to th e marketing department of £318,711. BRADFORD WOOL. LONDON, July 25. A Bradford report states: Quotations for yarns are unchanged, and are generally firm. There is great activity on the Government account. STOCK EXCHANGES. WELLINGTON, July 26. Sales reported: Ne.w Zealand Insurance 58s 6d, Leyland O’Brien Timber 13s.
