CLUBS’ MEETINGS. . Miss I. Neilson presided over a good attendance at the annual meeting of the United Basketball Club, held at Mrs J. E. Robertson’s residence. •The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Mr T. Ryan; president, Mrs JE. Robertson; vice-president, Mr F. Bell; secretary-treasurer. Miss J. Robertson; club captain, Miss A. Tindale; club vice-captain, Miss I. Neilson; chairwoman, Mrs J. Carter; coach, Miss A. Tindale; committee, Mesdames King, Carter, Hickllng an; Ellis, Misses J. Robertson, DrinKwater, A. Tindale and I Neilson. The subscription was fixed at 3s, the uniform to be the same as last year. CONVENT OLD GIRLS’ CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Convent Old Girls’ Basketball Club, the report and balance sheet were adopted as satisfactory, the club captain proposing a vote of thanks to the auditor. The election of officers resulted: —Patron: Very Rev. Father JLong (re-elected); President; Sr. M. Enda (re-elected); Vice-Presidents: Mr W. Gieseking, Mesdames Moore, Hassall, Rohloff, McGrath, Marshall, Russell, Dennehy, Misses M. Anderson and M. Quinn. Hon SecretaryTreaurer: Miss C. Close (re-elected), Hon. Auditor: Miss M. Finlay (reelected); Club Captain; Miss E. Rohloff (re-elected); Committee: Misses E. Barry. E. Hamilton. E. Hannan, E. Rohloff, N. Grogan. P. McGrath and the Secretary. Delegate to W.C.8.A.: Miss C. Close. Coach': Miss N. Qrogan. The following new members were elected: J. Walker. P. Wingnam, J. Reedy. Subscriptions were fixed at the same rate as for the previous year. It was thought that Jhe Club would be able to field three teams m the competition this year. It was decided to commence training on Thurs day, April 18.
