Late on Friday night Leslie Harold Paterson, single, aged 25 years, was admitted to the Grey Hospital suffering from lacerated wounds of the left leg. Paterson was tnc- d.'iw

of a car which left the road abotr. a quarter of a mile on the Greymouth sdo of Ahaura. The injured m.n was pinned beneath the vehicle, but was promptly rescued and conveyed to hospital by Constable A. Honey, oi. Ahaura. His condition last night was satisfactory.

Walter Fowler Perry, ag:d 45 years, employed at the Dobson Mme, was picked up on the Dobson straight about a quarter of a mile from Doeson, yesterday afternoon in an unconscious cond'tion. He was adm tted to the Grey Hospital suffering from abrasions and minor wounds on the face. Ferry, who was eye bag, is thought to have fallen from his machine. His condition last even ng was satisfactory.
