The weather renort is as follows:— General situation: An extensive anticyclone covers the New Zealand drea, and a depression is located south of Tasmania. Forecast: Winds, light to fresh and rather variable, but with easterlies prevailing over Aucklanu Peninsula, and northerly direction.-, gradually predominating about an south of Cook Strait. Seas, in New Zealand waters, slight or moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate easterly winds and slight seas in tne northern portions; strong nort1 ’ westerly winds and rough seas in the southern portion.
