Wind upset a crack field, including Sam Byrd, who carded 76, Harry Cooper 77, and Jimmy Hines 80, although Sarazen was round ,in 77 (par). Lawson and Little took 74. Ferrier was satisfied with his performance on this trickv coiirse.
