NELSON CAR SMASH
WOMAN KILLED Four Persons Injured [Per Press NELSON. March 22. A young woman was killed and two other passengers were admitted to hospital, one in a serious condition, as the result of a car running into a telegraph pole at VVakatu, on the main Stoke-Nelson Road, at 1.30 O’clock this morning. The victim was Miss Nancy O Sullivan, aged 20. of Nile Street. Nelson. She was killed instantaneously, suffering head injuries. Those injured were:— John Sutherland Howard, aged 2-> of South Street. Nelson, who sustained severe head injuries and a compound fracture of one leg, his condition being serious. Miss Smith, of Nelson who suffered injuries to the shoulder, and was admitted to hospital. . Miss Sadie Howard sustained minor injuries. , , - Ic _.
