Says Australian Premier LOSSES FOR INDIVIDUALS PREDICTED. (Received March 20, 11.51 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 20. In a speech at the official luncheon of the Sydney Royal' Show to-day, the Prime Minister, Hon. R. G. Menzies, warned Australians “that they would hav' to pull their weight in this war.” “They must be prepared,” he said, “to tighten their belts, and to suffer individual loss and inconvenience, and even ruin in some cases. The nation must be prepared for reduced standards of living. The primary producers must cease cavilling about their prices for wool, wheat and other produce.”.
