The Marine Court inquiry into the harbour collision between the Union Company freighter and the Blue Star liner, cabled on March 16, is being continued. It is unlikely to finish until the end of the week. Selwyn Capon, master of the Blue Star liner, in his evidence, said that Ing the Sydney harbour bridge, were a hindrance to navigation. He first saw the Union freighter when she was alarmingly close to him beneath the harbour bridge. Herbert Morson master of a tug that was waiting for the Union freighter said that the latter’s course, prior to the collision, was normal, but tlie Blue Star Liner’s course was not normal, this being possibly due to the set of the floodtide. The inquiry was adjourned.
