DID THEY TALK PEACE?
Much Guessing ABOUT BRENNERO MEETING. (Received March 20. 1.20 a.m.) ROME, March 19. What ll' Duce and Herr Hitler discussed during their 21 hours’ cordiai| conversation at Brennero is still a' matter of conjecture, said the Rome Radio announcer this morning. . I This goes for the world, but yet it does not prevent a mass speculation. The speculation, however, ignores; the fact that it is most unlikely either l that 11 Duce or Herr Hitler has divulged everv part of their conversation. Intelligent deduction, nevertheless, permits of a conclusion that, under the influence of Mr. Sumner Welles’s tour, the terms whereon peace could possibly be concluded occupied at least a part of their discussion. Mr. Welles is now scheduled to leave Rome to-day at 4 p.m. forj Genoa. It is believed that he may see 1 Signor Mussolini again about midday to-day. '
