PRISONERS REACH U.S.A. AIRMAN'S WIFE GIVES CASUAL GREETING. (Received March 18, 9.25 p.m.) NEW YORK, March 17. Harold Dahl, an American aviator, who became internationally publicised through his wife’s efforts to save him from a firing squad by sending to Gene, al Franco her pictures, has arrived here from Spain. With him have come five other form er prisoners in Spain. Dahl’s wife, came to meet him but was thirty minutes late ir arriving at the pier She greeted him with surprising casualness. She merely said “hello!'’ she presented her cheek for a kiss, explaining that sae did not want to smear him with lipsdek. Mrs Dahl left in a cab with two other men, leaving her husband to follow alone.
