BARTER TRADE
Japan and Argentine 30 MILLION YEN PER ANNUM. (Received March 18, 11.40 p.m.) TOKIO, March 18. M. Suma, has confirmed that Japan and the Argentine have reached; a barter “agreement of views.” It was reached on March 15. Japan is to buy annually thirty million yen worth of Argentine products, including wool, meat, casein, and wheat. The Argentine will buy the same value of Japanese goods, granting Japan foreign exchange at a rate on the “most favoured nation” basis.
