EXHIBITION LITIGATION. “PLAYLAND DECISION. [Per Press Association]. WELLNGTON. March 15. The judgment of Mr Justice Smith, delivered to-day, upholds the authority of Henry Seff, general manager and representative of the Proprietors of Pl'ayland at the Exhibition, to sue a stallholder for possession of an amusement stall,, and for arrears in rent. In effect the judgment save that the plaintiff company was bound by all acts of Seff under the agreement appointing him general manager of the amusement park. If that was not correct, the company would not be bound by contracts for the use of space, yet defendant himself. Edward George Lay, of Hastings, had affirmed that the company was so bound bv sueing it for damages for bein„g induced to enter into a contract, whereby he incurred obligations. Plaintiff was entitled to judgment, but as judgment would! require the fixing of time for delivery of possession, he .proposed to hear counsel' on that question and on costs. ' ... . ,
