HIBERNIAN BALL

There was a large 1 attendance at the annual Hibernian Ball at Schaef’s Hall last evening, and a most enjoyable time was spent by all present, including a good number of visitors. The hall was tastefully decorated in green, white, and gold. Other Lodges were well represented. The ladies’ committee, who were responsible for a delightful supper,_ included Mesdames Higgins, Pollock (2), Bonisch, Sweetman, Curnow, Fitzgerald and Miss J. Clancy. The members of the men’s committee were:—Messrs C. McGinley (Chairman), W. Moore, B. Rathbun, J. I. Mcllroy, A. Greaney, W. Butler, F. Saunders, F. McGrath, G. Fogarty and P. Sweetman, Junr. (Secretary). The music was supplied by the Mayfair Orchestra, under the leadership of Mr. A. Christensen, and extras were played by the Centennial Orchestra and Mr. R. Buchanan. Mr. P. Sweetman (Senr.) and Mr. F. McGrath, capably carried out the duties of M.C.
