Tcr-day’s racing at Victoria * Park saw Gold Salute and Geebung—three prominent Doncaster Handicap acceptors —to advantage in the two Divisions of the Flying Handicap of 6i furlongs. Gold Salute won the first division by two and a half lengths from Billposter in 1.91, while the Beau Pere' gelding, The Squire, took the Second Division from Castala and Geebung in 1.92. Foxhall, by Colossus from Huntsup, won the Second Division, of the Novice Handicap. Beau Livre, which is a muchfancied Doncaster handicap, was produced to-day for inspection at Victoria Park. Ridden by M. McCarten he galloped five furlongs on the inside of the main course in 1.4. ' His action is not yet perfect. Apparently he is not quite rid of the soreness since his arrival from New Zealand.
