SCHOOLS’ PICNIC
MOONLIGHT AND SLATEY CREEK. The combined Moonlight and Slatey Creek schools’ picnic was held on Saturday in beautiful weather, ana a lengthy programme of sports even-j was put through and enjoyed by a ;good gathering residents nnd visitors. The racing was keen ano the many close finishes and amusing events kept the interest sustained. most successful dance was held in the evening at the Moonlight Hall, and proved a fitting wind-up.
