GREY CLUB RACES. The Grevmouth Yacht Club hcld'th second race for the Messenger Memorial Cup for junior members, seven boats started with the following result- —Mahlon '(A. Kroening) L Bounty (V. Briefer) 2 The fourth and fifth races for bicentennial Cup (Idle Along class) and Thompson and Brennan I (Silver Fern class) were also hole. Results: — Idle-Along Class—four, h J 1 / 0Vagabond (G. Messenger) D vv £' : ' a W. Messenger) 2. Listless M ‘ in ' donald, retired. Fifth race: Waiata (W. Messenger) 1. Also staite . Vagabond (G. Messenger). Listless (R. Macdonald). Silver Fern Class—Fourth race. Mahlon (W. J- Stackhouse) 1. Bounty (J. Hogarth) 2, Rascal . (R. Blacktopp) 3. Awatea (E. Smith) 4. Fifi. race: Mahlon (W. J. Stackhouse) 1, Awatea (E. Smith) 2. Rascal (R. Blacktopp) 3, Bounty (J. Hogarth) . Final Centennial Cup: Waiata 29 points. 1; Vagabond, 19pts, 2; Listless. Brennan Plaque: Awatea 28pts 1, Rascal 21pts 2, Mahlon 18pts 3, Bounty 16pts 4, Frolic 3pts 5.
