Holmes (Riccarton), 30gns.; Erin’s Pointer, dam of Colonel Grattan, with a fiily foal by Quite Sure, Mr O’Leary (Kilkenny, Adelaide), 200 gunieas. SWEET MEMORY DEAD. The death occurred a few days ago at the age of 25 of the brood mare Sweet Memory, by Maniapoto from Pretty Helen. Sweet Memory produced Membo, winner of the Grand National' Hurdles, Paladino and Nightcalm, and at the time of her death she had a nine-weeks-old filly by Salmagundi at foot. The filly is | reported to be doing well. Sweet] Memory was 16 when she foaled Paladino and 19 when she produced Nightcalm.
