WELLINGTON PACIFISTS. WELLINGTON, February 12. Ormond Edward Burton, a minister of religion, and William Daniel O’Rediy, labourer, were charged in the Magistrate’s Court, to-day, with obstructing the police in the execution of their duty, and each was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment with hard labour.
’The Magistrale (Mr. J. L. Stout) said it .was quite .evident from what was happening in other centres that if the meetings were allowed to continue there would most likely be disorder and possibly bloodshed.
