From Red Poland THREE N.Z. RESIDENTS. (Received February 7, 9.30 p.m.) BUCHAREST, February 7. Fourteen Britons arrived from the Russianised portion of Poland. One is a South African and three are New Zealanders the latter including Mr. Cedric Potocki and his wife. All but one have married Polish women, who are now Russian citizens. Thirteen Britons arrived at Odessa in Russia, leaving forty-three who have not been evacuated. NAZI PERSECUTION IN GERMANY (Received February Bfi 1.15 a.m.) LONDON, February 7. Religious persecution in Germany is referred to by the Vatican which announced that the German Catholic women’s organisation had been disbanded by the Nazis. All the funds of the organisation have been seized by the Nazis, who have deprived Catholic women of many opportunities of social and cultural development.
