The French hive completed flood defences on the northern frontier, as the result of which a great artificial lake can be cheated, thus making i virtually impossible for mechanised or other trocps to make a passage over the frori-ier. . There has peen machinery installed enabling the French to inundate the road lowlatds, between France and Belgium, tjtis creating a third water barrier agtinst Germany, togjglher with Holhnd’s dykes and Belgium 3 Albert cjhah
