N.Z. DEFENCE MINISTER

Flight to Sydney [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received January 16, 11.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, January 16. The New Zealand Minister of Defence, Hon. F. Jones, has arrived here in the flying boat Aotearoa. < He stated that New Zealand would be happy to have any flying boat service linking her with Australia, even if it ran only once weekly. He hopel that it would not be long before the regular service began.
