Mrs W. Work Wanganui, will arrive today on a visit to her mother, Mrs J. Lynch, Beach Street, Hokitika.
The death occurred yesterday at Dunedin of Mr Newman R. Wilson, aged 51. He was past-piesident of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, and of the Returned Soldiers’ Assn., and had a distinguished military career having earned the D. 5.0., and M.C. in the Great War.—Press Sssn.

Mr J. Kelly, of the Stores Branch, Public Works Department, Greymouth, who left yesterday on transfer to Dunedin, was farewelled by members of the St. Columba Badminton Club and the Marist Football Club. The Badminton Club presented him with a wallet, and the Football Club with a travelling rug.
The death occurred at Wellington on Sunday of Mr William Johns, a native of England, aged 84 years. Deceased, who had been in New Zealand for 20 years, had resided in Levin for the past few years. He visited Greymouth recently. Mrs W. Sharp, Tainui Street, a daughter of deceased, left yesterday for Levin, where the funeral will take place.
The death occurred yesterday after- - noon at Greymouth, of Mr George Wilson, of Cowper Street. Born 72 years ago in Dunedin, deceased came to the West Coast 38 years ago, ana had for the past 24 years resided in Cowper Street. He was formerly master of the Stafford-Waimea dredge, and later was employed by the Greymouth Harbour Board and the Dispatch Foundry Company, retiring about six years ago. He was an active member of St. John’s Presbyterian Church, and was a former church manager. Deceased is survived by his wife, four sons, George and Don (Christchurch), Alex (Wellington), and Frank (Dunedin), and one daughter, Mrs S. J. Porter (Christchurch), also one brother Jamgs (Dunedin), and one sister, Mrs P. McMillan (Dunedin).’ The funeral will take place at Karoro Cemetery to-morrow afternoon.
