GREY CLUB’S MEETING. Showery weather conditions prevailed for the weekly meeting of the Greymouth Amateur Athletic Club last evening, but the programme was completed in good time. Results:— Men’s 75 Yards, first heat: G. Kennedy 1, J. Perrin 2. T. Harker 3. Second heat: D. Henderson 1, K. Horrack 2, E. Brown 3. Final: D. Henderson 1, G. Kennedy 2, J. Perrin 3. Men’s 220 Yards: A. Smith 1, E. Brown 2, G. Kennedy 3. 880 Yards, Junior: A. Cochrane 1, A. Smith 2, K. Horrack 3. Men's Three-quarter Mile: R. Buchanan 1, W. Wilson 2, M. Fauth 3. Javelin Throw: J. Lynch, 113 ft. 6in„ 1; T. Harker, 111 ft., 2; J. Perrin, 110 feet, 3. The Club recently purchased some javelins and last night’s meeting was the first occasion on which this event has been held on the Coast for some years.
