AUSTRALIAN FILM DIRECTOR. AND U.S.A. MIGRATION LAW. (Received October 22, 7.30 p.m.). LOS ANGELES, October 21. A Melbourne-born film director, Alft ' l J. Goulding, aged 53, was charged with entering the United States illegally. He was remanded. The authorities, in their evidence, stated that Goulding arrived in 1912. He visited England in 1935. He returned in 193 S on a three months’ visitors’ permit.
