The Harbour Board last, evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water was 28ft 3ins. The Kakapo is loading for Miramar and Wellington, and will sail early to-day, if conditions permit The Kiwitea arrived in the roadstead on Monday night, but. the bar was unworkable yesterday. She has cargd from Auckland, and after discharge will load for Auckland and Portland. The Puriri left Wanganui yesterday for Greyrhouth direct, and is due today, to load for Onehunga and Port Waikato. She returns about September 30, to load for return to Onehunga and Port Waikato. The Rata left Tarakohe on Monday night for Greymouth, via Westport, and is due to-day to load for Nelson. The Huanui is due to-day, from Foxton, to load coal for return. The Korowai was to leave Wellington at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon for Greymouth, to load for return. The Gabriella is expected to leave Wellington to-day with carg 0 for Greymouth, and will load here on Friday, for return. The Hokitika is reported to be still stranded on the south spit at Foxton, alhough undamaged. It is hoped o refloat, her when the tides are higher.
