FARMERS' OFFER

ORGANISATIONS' AID FOR THE STATE. PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Sept. 4. The Dominion President of the Farmers’ Union, Mr. W. W. Mulholland, intimated to the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. W. Lee Martin that the whole organisation and resources of his Union were at the disposal of the Government. An offer of a similar nature was made by the North Island Freezing Companies’ Association. In both cases the Minister has replied, expressing the thanks of the Government, and stating the offers will be availed of if occasion arises.
