i DOUBLES TO AUSTRALIANS. NEW YORK, September 3. In the doubles, Quist and Bromwich defeated Hunt and Kramer 5/7, 6/2. 7/2, 6/2. There was little to choose from between the teams, although their styles were' considerably different. Hunt and Kramer have a cannonball service, and are formidable smashers from midcourt, but the Australians are infinitely the better volleyers.
