ST. JOHN'S CLUB. Last Saturday, St. John's Harrier Club held the third race of its Club Championship series. The course from the Paroa Hotel to St. John’s Churchwas approximately live miles. Results: J. Daniel. 1; N. Lawson. 2; D. Henderson, 3. Time—27 min. Lawson, a young runner who has improved a great deal during the' season, did remarkably well Io >ipi into second place, considering the fact that he ran in bare feet. J. Daniel is leading m the points for the championship with foi” - points. D. Henderson, 7 points, is second. With only one more championship race to bo run. it is not likely that .1 Daniel will be displaced.
