BOSTON, August 25. The doubles match, which may prove to be the vital tie in the Davis Cup inter-zone final between Australia and Yugoslavia, was postponed until to-morrow on account of rain. Each team has won one singles. A. K. Quist (Australia) beating D. Mitic, and F. Puncec (Yukoslavia) beating J. Bromwich.

In the final of the men’s singles Cooke beat McNeil 8/10, 6/4, 7/5, 6/3. | As a result of his victory Cooke will probably now be included in the American Davis Cup team.
