LEAGUE FOOTBALL
At Inangahua Junction Waratans defeated the local team by 19 points to 12. The teams displayed good combination with Waratans slightly superior. The forwards were evenly matched. For Waratahs Watson, Scott and Masters as a back comoination were brilliant, and were well supported by Barrow and Donaldson. Alborn, Bissett and McCready were the pick of the forwards. In the Junction backs Tetley Hunt, Lines and Williams were in good form ana Trim was the pick of the forwards.
