LUCKY WOMEN

CAR HIT BY TRAIN. HASTINGS, April 26. Two occupants of a small car had a miraculous escape when their vehicle collided with a train at Paulsen’s Crossing, near Takapau, to-day. The car was carried for about thirty yards, and completely wrecked, but the occupants, Miss V. Frederickson (Takapau), and Miss Mollison (Sydney), suffered only minor injuries. They wbre taken to Waipukurau Hospital, where their condition is reported as satisfactory.
