FOR WESTLAND

KILLEYMOON STUD SOUTHDOWNS

Of interest to West Coast farmers is the recent purchase by Mr W. O’Malley of Ikamatua, of 22 stud Southdown ewes and one stud Southdown ram, from the dispersal sale oi the famous Killeymoon Stud, recently held at Feilding. The Killeymoon Stud, which Is one of the foremost of its breed in the world, was established In 1902, and has to its credit the greatest prize winning record of any stud of pedigree sheep yet dispersed in the Dominion. Mr O’Malley may therefore be said to have secured an excellent foundation for the building of a Southdown stud.
