SHIPPING COLLISION
NEAR HONG KONG.

The P. ana O. Company’s liner “Canton," collided witn the French ship "Marechai Joffre," in a dense fog, sixty miles northward of Hongkong this morning. There are no details available, but it is understood that both vessels are taking in water, but are returning to. Hongkong under their own power.
