ELECTION OF POPE
VATICAN RADIO REPORTS. [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.)] VATICAN CITY, February 27. A film of the Papal conclave will be taken, but not during the actual proceedings. It is intended that the Vatican station will, twice daily, broadcast in the chief languages, the process of the voting, and then the final choice, simultaneously with the announcement to the crowd in St. Peter’s Square. NEWSPAPER CONJECTURES. VATICAN CITY, February 27. Some Italian newspapers discuss the possibility of a non-Italian Pope, and mention Cardinal Cerejeira, of Lisbon, and Cardinal Villeneuve, of Quebec. The names chiefly the subject of general speculation are those of Cardinals Marmaggi, Massini, Schuster, Dallacosta and Maglione.
