NOTES The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 25ft Bin. The Kaimiro is loading for Auckland and Portland, but cannot sail before to-day, owing to delays through rain.
The Hokitika will proceed to Hokitika and Jackson Bay when conditions moderate. The Huanui will sail when conditions moderate, with coal for Foxton. The Waimea is due to-day to load coal for Tarakohe.
The Rata has been delayed at Wanganui by bar conditions, and is now due to-morrow, to load for Picton and Wanganui, sailing via Westport. The Kakapo is expected to leave Wellington to-morrow, and is due on Friday night to load for return. The Karu is due about Saturday from Wellington, to load timber for Miramar and Wellington. The Kaimai is due about Monday from Westport, to complete for Gisborne: The Kalingo is due about January 25, to load timber for Sydney.
