BOXING
PALMER OUTPOINTED. SYDNEY, December 8. In a twelve-rounder bout at the Sydney sports ground to-night, the American, Gus Lesnevich (12.5) outpointed Ambrose Palmer (12.5). It was a lively contest, wherein there were many exciting rallies, despite Palmer’s eye being cut in the third round. Lesnevich had Palmer in trouble in the concluding rounds and the final one was all in his favour.
