ON GERMAN JEWS Ghettos For Berlin [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received December 4, 7 p.m.) , BERLIN, December 4. Jews’have been banned from the principal streets, and all places of amusement, and bathing establishments. The Jewish residential areas m north Berlin and in central Berlin are not banned, and they will become ghettos. Jews must obtain permits to cross them. A decree forbidding the German Jews to own or drive cars or motor cycles declares that the murder of Dr. Von Rath in Paris by Herschel Grynszpan proves the Jews are unsdited to possess motor vehicles.

Segregation Plans 140,000 MOTOR CARS AFFECTED. (Independent. Cable). BERLIN, December .4. A limited number amusement places will specially be licensed for Jews only. An official statement advises Jews to give up dwellings that are in near the important streets, as they will eventually be excluded from such streets. Thirty or forty thousand Jewish owned motor cars in Berlin alone and a hundred thousand throughout the country will be brought to a standstill by the motor vehicle’s decree.
