YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB
' [To the Editor.] Sir,-—Would you please allow me space in your correspondence column for the purpose of asking all young farm employees to co-operate with trie in the, object of forming what is known all over the North Island and in many parts of the South Island, pamely,. a Young Farmers’ Club. These Clubs are conducted under the auspices of the N.Z. Federation of. Young Farmers’ Clubs, and deal with? all , tlie Agricultural Department’si Field Division probleins, as instructed
by the Dominion Farmers’ Union. II would like all those interested to 1 write to me,, supporting this move-1 merit, - and feel assured that all avail-] able .assistance would bo forthcoming if such Clubs could be formed. One here would meet with all due consideration from all other Clubs in the, Dominion. A Club is a spur for young! people to properly study farming, a thing, they otherwise would, in a great” many cases, get too* little chance of doing. Thanking you for the opportunity to let other young people know of a project worthy of every encouragement, I am, etc., • ' •’>’ STAN DERRICK, Bright St., Cobden. ,
