EMBARGO ON JAPAN
WATERSIDERS' DECISION. SYDNEY, November 29. Waterside workers at Port Kembla have reaffirmed a decision not to load pig iron intended for Japan. The Federal Cabinet have decided that if the workers do not resume loading by December 6, the Government will apply the licensing provisions of the Transport Workers’ Act. This will mean that all waterside workers will have to be licensed, and that if they commit any industrial misdemeanous their license will be cancelled.
