The “Telegraph’s" Barcelona correspondent says that fighting is intensifying on the Ebro front, as the rebels hurl against the Loyalist position 15,000 troops, which are reported to include eight Italian Divisions, many of whose men recently arrived from Italy. The rebels are supposed to have suffered 25,000 casualties on the Ebro front, in the course ,>f five weeks’ futile efforts to break through, and 20,000 casualties • on the Valencia front, since July.
